Car accidents are frequent on Highway 98 in Navarre and Gulf Breeze, FL.  Florida is a no fault state.  No fault means that everyone who is insured in Florida must carry person injury protection insurance.  Your personal injury protection will pay 80 percent of your medical expenses and 60 percent of your loss wages up to $10,000.  Therefore, it is called no fault because it doesn’t matter who is at fault your insurance company will pay your bills up to $10,000.  However, the amount that personal injury protection (PIP) does not pay is considered out of pocket expenses.  The person who is at fault is responsible for your out of pocket medical expenses, loss wages, and if you have a permanent injury, then the person is responsible for your pain and suffering.  After a car accident It is critical that your injuries are properly documented and that the doctor treating you can properly articulate that you have incurred a permanent injury as a result of the car accident.  The insurance company for the person who hit you will be responsible for properly compensating you for your damages.  The question is do you trust the insurance company to properly compensate you.  If you have questions regarding your damage to your car, your medical bills, or how much your pain and suffering is worth, then call Kilpatrick & Newlin for a free consultation.  We will answer your questions and inform you of your rights after a car accident.  We are personal injury attorneys located in Navarre, FL and remember, who you trust matters.

Car accidents on Hwy 87 in Navarre, seem to be happening more and more frequently.  We are all aware of the dangers of Hwy 98 from Pensacola to Navarre to Ft. Walton, however, the accidents that occur on Hwy 87 seem to be very serious in nature.  There have already been a couple of fatalities just this year from car accidents on Hwy 87 in Navarre, FL.  I think that the speed at which the cars travel and the dangerous passing that occurs on the two lane portion of the highway increase the severity of the collisions.  After a severe collision the insurance company will often use any means of defense possible to avoid having to pay out on a big claim.  If you or a family member have been involved in a car accident on Hwy 87 or any of the many dangerous Highways from Pensacola to Navarre to Ft. Walton or up to Milton, let us help you through this traumatic process.  Let the law firm of Kilpatrick & Newlin, P.A. help you get the compensation that you deserve.
